Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect transactional and transformational on innovation performance lecturers. population research is all lecturers at a private university in Tangerang totaling 180 people. sample used random sampling method. data are primary collected through questionnaire. number returned valid questionnaires 120 samples. processed using Structural Equating Model (SEM). results conclude that leadership have positive impact This proposes model improve improving practices universities. can pave way readiness facing 4.0 education era. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh transaksional dan transformasional terhadap kinerja inovasi dosen. Populasi seluruh dosen pada salah satu universitas swasta di berjumlah orang. Sampel menggunakan Data yang digunakan primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner. Jumlah kuesioner kembali sebanyak sampel. diolah dengan Hasil menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif Penelitian mengusulkan meningkatkan peningkatan praktik perguruan tinggi. Kajian dapat membuka jalan kesiapan dalam menghadapi era pendidikan 4.0.
